This private family Stud is owned by Mr Michael Wates CBE, Mr Wates has been involved with the equine industry for over 35 years.  His youngest son Giles has managed the stud for the past 15 years having gained extensive experience in Kentucky USA, The National Stud ( Ireland) and The British Bloodstock Agency in Newmarket. The health and wellbeing of the horses is the primary concern of Giles and bears witness to the professionalism, skill, patience and passion with which the stud is run.

Our aim is to provide a friendly, relaxed but professional service to all our clients. Some of our clients are first time breeders and we are pleased to be able to offer our services and give free advice, regardless of whether you are using our Stud facilities or not.
